Our primary toolkit is the Microsoft Visual Studio development platform including the older Visual Studio platform using Visual Basic 6 and the newer Visual Studio.NET 2005 platform.   We're currently working with Visual Basic.NET and ASP.NET.  We expect to also be working with C# in the near future.


Microsoft SQL Server continues to be our choice of database platforms using Transact-SQL.  We have also used Microsoft Access when localized databases are a better more economical choice.


We've used Crystal Reports for our report writing going back to the very first releast of the product.  We're currently taking a hard look at Microsoft Reporting Services.


For a period of about 3 years we've also developed a number of document management projects using FileNET Image and Content Management suites using the Eastman Imaging Toolkits.


Over the past 18 years we've worked with a number of development tools, database platform and methodologies.  That is not to say we would consider ourselves expert in many of these areas, but having that exposure does allows us to better understand your project needs.


The development environment is extremely diverse and it would be impossible to be knowledgeable in all disciplines.  Our policy is to be up front with our clients about any limitations we may have in undertaking a project.  In some cases our best advice would be to work with our clients and try to find other parties better suited to the task at hand.  In other cases we allocate a certain amount of time that would not be billed to better learn a particular element of a project, which might translate in a project taking longer to complete.
